  • Reimagining Electric Vehicles in Illinois Act (REV): REV Illinois offers competitive incentives to expand in or relocate to Illinois for companies that manufacture EVs and EV parts as well as EV charging stations. Under this program, companies with plans to invest in new or existing manufacturing have the opportunity to qualify for exemptions on income tax withholding, utility tax, training, and equipment/capital costs.
  • Climate and Equitable Jobs Act Charging Incentive Program: The Environmental Protection Agency is preparing to open applications (early 2023) to provide up to 80% of the cost of the installation of charging stations, which maintain Level 2 or Level 3 charging stations. This program will be open to public and private organizations and companies.
  • Driving a Cleaner Illinois: Funds are regularly distributed at various points in time through the Illinois EPA for various types of diesel emission reduction projects. The program offers unique flexibility but may be used, for example, to install EV charging stations. For other regular updates and incentives please visit https://afdc.energy.gov/laws/all?state=IL.
