WUPC-TV4 serves residents and organization within the community of University Park. Through its programs, it will involve, promote, educate, recognize and support the activities and achievements of its citizens, community groups, government, business and religious groups with special emphasis on children and young adults. HOME OF THE YOUNG BROADCASTERS

The Young Broadcasters Program is designed to get the youth of University Park involved in the broadcast related activities of the studio. These activities include all the facets of television broadcast creation, development, production and editing. This program has developed and trained community residents to provide volunteer support for WUPC-TV4 and help stimulate careers in broadcast communications. The Young Broadcasters program has stimulated its members to achieve a higher level of proficiency by establishing merit ranks in the various phases of broadcaster communications.

WUPC-TV4 is a non for profit organization that administers the use of public access channel in the Southern suburbs. This public access station was created to promote and develop maximum community involvement in the use of cable television for cultural, educational, health, social service, civic, community and other noncommercial purposes. It gives you a voice on cable television by providing training equipment, facility and channel time to local residents and groups.
