The Young Broadcasters Program is designed to get the youth of University Park involved in the broadcast related activities of the studio. These activities include all the facets of television broadcast creation, development, production and editing. This program has developed and trained community residents to provide volunteer support for WUPC TV Channel 4 and help stimulate careers in broadcast communications. The Young Broadcasters program has stimulated its members to achieve a higher level of proficiency by establishing merit ranks in the various phases of broadcaster communications.
