The department is located at 698 Burnham Ave, office hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday thru Friday. The Finance Department is responsible for developing, maintaining, and administering all programs related to general accounting functions for the Village. The Department assures accurate accounting of all Village receipts and expenditures, provides financial trend analysis of various funds, oversees and coordinates purchasing procedures, and manages the purchase of supplies and materials. The Department also prepares financial and budgetary reports, including the annual audit, and conducts cash and treasury management. Finance also directs utility and ambulance billing, administers Village payroll, pension, and accounts payable systems, and oversees the Village Hall cashier's office.

The Finance Department is also responsible for the sale of village vehicle/motorcycle stickers and animal tags. Vehicle stickers are required for all vehicles within 30 days of new residency or 30 days after a vehicle purchase. Replacement vehicle stickers for owners replacing their current registered vehicle with a new one should be done within 30 days. All vehicle stickers expire on June 30. Stickers go on sale starting June 1st and must be displayed on vehicles by July 1st. Any vehicle sticker purchased after June 30th, will incur a fee that is equal to the cost of the sticker price, in other words, the cost of the sticker doubles starting July 1st.

Animal tags are required for all cats and dogs registered in the village within 30 days of residency. Animal tags expire December 31st and must be renewed each year and accompanied by a veterinarian’s rabies certificate that also shows the animal has been spayed or neutered. Tags go on sale January 2nd of every year and double in price starting with February 1st of every year.
